Julie Wiener N.D. (Naturopath) received her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington, one of the country's four medical schools specializing in science based natural medicine and research. She also received her B.S. in Environmental Toxicology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Dr. Wiener serves as adjunct Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She is also course co-creator and primary lecturer of Principles of Functional Medicine, lecturer non-herbal dietary supplements. Researched and compiled curriculum material for Principles of Functional Medicine, a new course at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, part of Masters of Applied Natural Products Program. Founder of Beacon Naturopathic Clinic in Brighton, Massachusetts. Adjunct residency site for Tufts Family Residency in Melrose, Children's Hospital, and guest lecturer for, Newton Adult Education, and Framingham State College. Support group leader for the Massachusetts Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia Society.
